We had a beautiful cruise from Green turtle Bay to Paris Landing across the wide and gorgeous Kentucky lake. We passed dozens of intriguing anchorages and I wished that we had a summer to spend here. Paris Landing is a state park and this is a government built Marina which is relatively new and nearly empty. The floating docks had long finger peers, but some kind of weird electrical boxes. Two gold loopers (Mike and his wife) came by the boat as they are the harbor hosts for Paris Landing. We ordered pizza from a local store, TNT, which might have been the best pizza I ever tasted. We shared the pizza with them in the salon while receiving an in-depth briefing on the remainder of the Tennessee River. All in all a pleasant day and evening. It is a little sad how tragically underused this Marina is although I suspect that the bulk of the Looper wave is heading this way.
